A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Wink-Loving Independent School District will be held on Thursday, August 27th, 2009, beginning at 7:00 P.M., in the Board Room of the School Administration Building located at 200 Rosey Dodd Street in Wink, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered, or upon which any formal action may be taken, are as follows: (Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on this meeting notice.)

1. Minutes of Previous Meeting

2. Public Comments/Audience Participation

3. Budget Amendments

4. Financial Reports, Bills Payable, and Bills Paid

5. Superintendent Report

A. Elementary Principals Report

B. Junior High/High School Principals Report

6. Public Meeting to discuss budget and proposed tax rate.

7. Approve 2009-2010 Budget

8. Adopt the 2009 Tax Rate by resolution

9. Approve request resale of Lot 16, and Lot 17, Block 3, Park Place, Winkler County

10. Transfer surplus funds to insurance fund

11. Closed Session

12. Adjourn

If during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
